What Diabetes Looks Like #DBlogWeek

Today’s Topic: Back for another year, let’s show everyone what life with diabetes looks like!  With a nod to the Diabetes 365 project, let’s grab our cameras again and share some more d-related pictures.

My daughter and I both have T1 Diabetes. Often diabetes looks like two too many meters, CGMs, insulin pumps, as well as test strips (everywhere – how does that happen?), glucose tablets, and juice boxes. Sometimes it looks like middle-of-the-night bg tests, tears, or recess spent in the nurse’s office.

Most of the time, though, it looks like this:

We are so much more than Diabetes.

I’m worried enough about the D Mess I leave behind, I imagine if it was a double diabetic household we might be wading through test strips! Great photos – loved them 🙂
